Elisabeth Malkin, a contributing correspondent for Business Week magazine, and Eduardo Garcia, a correspondent for Bloomberg Business News, were married yesterday at the Century Association in New York. Acting Justice Frederic S. Berman of State Supreme Court in Manhattan performed the ceremony.

The couple work in Mexico City. Ms. Malkin, 32, graduated magna cum laude from Yale University and received a master's degree in international affairs from Columbia University. She is a daughter of Edith and Lawrence Malkin of New York. The bride's father is the United States correspondent for The International Herald Tribune.

Mr. Garcia, 34, graduated from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo in Mexico City. He received a master's degree in journalism from New York University. He is a son of Ana Correa de Garcia and Fernando F. Garcia of Mexico City. The bridegroom's father owned Cesa, a construction company in Mexico City.
