 Soon people living in Ukraine will be asked if they want to be Russian.

Nobody asked me in Mexican territory if I wanted to be Mexican. As a matter of fact the issue only came out when I turned 18. My father was born in Guatemala, so I had to sign a paper renouncing my citizenship in that country. Recently though Mexico changed the law and now I have both, US and Mexican citizenships.

Somehow when there’s a war, the issue seems different.
