One man died and two others were hospitalized with gunshot wounds following a shooting in Prince George’s County early Sunday morning, police said.

Officers responded to a shooting at about 1:30 a.m. and found three men with gunshot wounds near the 3700 block of Donnell Drive in the Forestville area of Prince George’s County. All three victims were taken to hospitals, and one man was pronounced dead a short time later, the Prince George’s Police Department said in a statement. The other two victims remained in the hospital, police said.

Detectives responded to the scene to identify potential suspects and establish a motive, but police did not share any additional information about the shooting or the victims Sunday morning.
