One does get satisfaction playing video games. Could it be that this virtual reality satisfaction will take us away of real life satisfactions?
The Matrix Trilogy is one of the earliest examples I've seen where virtual reality fights and almost wins over real life.
This is relevant for me, because I've lived my life detached from regular "real" satisfactions, like powerful positions, and the like, in exchange of the freedom to satisfy my own agenda.
So far so good. A life well lived, I don't complain.
All I need now is to get a good dopamine hit, when I hit the holy grail.
