S-Chip

I feel that if Bush looses this battle over health for kids paid by charging those kids or older people that want to smoke tobacco, then a new more liberal stage of American politics has started.

S-Chip stands for State Children's Health Insurance Program; it is a creative way to address the health care catastrophe the US is going through. By concentrating on the needs of the more innocent and vulnerable among us, the program shows to the whole country that we are moving in the wrong direction. By making those that do not see the connection between habits and health pay for this, it is giving two good messages for the price of one.

Bush has shown a moral deficiency beyond any one I have seen this man have. His defense: it is wrong to make poor smokers pay for the health of rich kids, come on!
