Why Argentina Took the Oil Back?

Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner joined a list of nationalistic leaders when she took the oil from Spain this week. In Mexico president Lazaro Cardenas del Rio did this on March 18, 1938. To this day this is a date of non religious jubilee. Nobody works, we all just remember the great leader that gave Mexico another chance to be an independent country. I am sure, many years into the future , Argentinians will remember April  16, 2012 in their secular calendar.

Cardenas got away with it because the US was getting ready to attack Germany, which they finally did in June 6,1944. Now Fernandez will get away with it because Germany abandoned Spain recently.

Unemployment in Spain is above 40% for young people. I guess those Spaniards will move to Buenos Aires.

In any case, Cristina will be remembered by her people, as much as Evita Peron!
