The Biology of Daily Life

I read in the NYT   (below) about stock traders. Specifically about the neurological and physiological changes they take for granted.

It's all in a day's work.

Most of the time our automatic responses are alright, we manage; but in stressful activities, like those of stock brokers, or surgirical professionals; our bodies tend to brake. Dear people in my life are like that. They live like bull fighters.

We just muddle through. If we stick together maybe we'll do better.
