I like Ms. Dowd. She wrote a great book about George W. Bush's presidency: Bushworld. Great book, I recommend it.
In the piece below, she won me over even more. I believe her historical perspective about George Herbert Walker Bush is right on!
Of course she quotes Mr. Meacham book, but she is charge of what she puts in her column.
