Turbulent Black Holes

Recently it has been suggested that chaotic behavior in the vicinity of the black hole singularity may be responsible for the information loss in the black hole information paradox [31]. Our work indicates that complicated behavior arises in a transitory way outside of the event horizon if the gravitational Reynolds number is high enough.
