Professor Lomnitz wrote a piece in La Jornada today. He made me smile in recognition.
Like myself, initially tried to distance himself from digital tools. In my case, I felt that if I programmed the problem, and gave it to a computer, I would be missing some kind of insight, illumination, or something.
I was wrong.
He ends his piece pointing out how the new wearable accouterments, look more and more like the useless clothing of European aristocrats.
Nevertheless, I am eagerly waiting for the Smart Pen!
