The truth about well-funded global-warming deniers

If you think those who have long challenged the mainstream scientific findings about global warming recognize that the game is over, think again. the denial machine is running at full throttle—and continuing to shape both government policy and public opinion.

I saw Al gore on Opraha today and I wasn't impressed.

And I'm no more impessed by this article, either, because it didn't take me long to find the first lie...

If you think those who have long challenged the mainstream scientific findings about global warming...

That is a lie, and it is the same type of extremist propaganda that balances with global warming denial to derive the truth.

I deny that global warming advocates are any less full of crap than their opponents are...

This politics between fanatics derives an anthropic balance that keeps us alive.

Do you see how it works?

Or are you in denial?

The first time I started to worry was when I saw Senator John McCain on the Senate floor during a c-span transmission a few years ago bringing up the issue.
He is conservative, from the same party as the President, and here he was warning us about a problem.
Since then I have read some books and the news.
All I can tell you is that the rate of these changes do not seem normal.
I read a dire prediction by James Lovelock, Gaia's Revenge, that we already passed the tipping point. I hope he is wrong.

My position is that I do not have to convince you or anybody else about the problem. When it comes we will all see it. I hope it will not be too late.

This is very good thinking, up to Lovelock, but there is a huge difference between a Gaia hypothesis about a living planet, and the anthropic phyics, (the goldilocks enigma), which Lovelock makes some observations about.

Here's the problem with Lovelock's logic. He is separating us from the system, but you can't do that.

As with the cc, the Goldilicks Enigma occurs fixed to a balance that occurs near-exactly between diametrically opposing runaway tendencies and you can make extremely accurate predictions from this.

For Example:
Venus suffers from the runaway greenhouse effect, whereas Mars represents the cold stagnate equally runaway proof of what will happen if extremist environmentalists get things all their way too, so heed the lesson of this anthropic coincidence.

My observation then, is that environmentalists will have a necessary effect, (at this time) but they will not get things their way either, because this *asymmetrical thermodynamic function* enables us to maximize work, via entropic-efficiency*... but not to stop it, because, like Mars, that would have a cumulative, runaway, deadly, effect, too.

Survival is just barely to the right of the middle.

We don't need to wait to know what will happen... ;)
