Reality is Stranger than Fiction.
Below you can read a NYT piece by Azam Ahmed, on the JPMorgan Fiasco, and the big Whale Catch by Boaz.
Now I am going to make a story. Full disclosure: I do not know Boaz Weinstein, nor Bruno Iksil.
Hey Bruno, have you posted all that money for me and my buddies, you know, you get 15%.
Yah, bro. You know you can count on me. You just keep your part of the bargain, and I do mine. BTW, how is that relationship with the reclusive , Ms. Clark going?
No problem we are tight; Huguette and I.
DEAL!
I wrote a piece about the late Carlos Fuentes, you can read it here. Now reading more about Huguette here, more story ideas come to mind.
More later.
Here is the lucky “monster” .
"Other hedge funds were also big winners. Blue Mountain Capital and BlueCrest Capital, both created by former JPMorgan traders, were among those winners. Lucidus Capital Partners, CQS and a fund called III came out ahead, too."
"While hedge fund managers, investors and analysts mingled over cocktails, Mr. Weinstein appeared buoyant. His trade against the London Whale was finally paying off, a vindication — and a profitable one — of his hunch months earlier. That same day, news reports said Mr. Iksil, the London Whale, would soon be leaving JPMorgan."
If my story is true, then the Whale Iksil does not have to worry!
