Democratic Senators voted to grant immunity to Senator Joseph Lieberman, allowing him to continue chairing Homeland Security in spite of outrageous conduct on behalf of the McCain campaign. The voices of faithful Democrats around the country, whose hard work and hard-earned cash produced an historic victory, meant nothing in the clubby Senators.
