A Torturous Compromise

Though president’s decision to expose but not prosecute those responsible for torture is surely unsatisfying, but it is the best solution for right now.

This is hard for me. Yes the one that gave the orders should face the consequences of his acts.

On the other hand, it has to be through the law. All I can see realistically happening is that some lower ranking official (ALberto Gonzalez?) is sent to the dog in Madrid, Judge Garzón. I do not think anything else will happen.
