This blog has an educational purpose, first and foremost. As an AP Physics teacher at Glenbard East High School, I was convinced students did not see the point of studying science. Relevant Science was born to tell them why it was important, even crucial, for everybody to understand science.
Nowadays is becoming clearer that Capitalism is the root cause of blind fossil fuel business actions, against the environment. The bottom line is not going to stir these forces in the right direction. It has to be a collective action like the close to half a million people in the streets of New York City, and other world centers of the new enlightenment, necessary to face this threat to our survival.
I am ready to provide mathematics, and physics training; and also the data analysis necessary to act effectively.
