Catastrophe: My Take

Below you can watch Jerry Brown telling us what is going on in California, and what he proposes. I follow Krugman from the NYT, and recently I've read Immanuel Wallerstein's take on Worker Unions today(below). I am  not myself  in  a good financial state.

From where I stand it looks bad, very bad.

You could argue that I brought  myself to this situation. You can tell Californians, and Greeks (read Huffington below), that it is their damn fault, drop dead and don't bug me!

Maybe that will give you some comfort, but what you are saying is not all that useful for the rest of us.

Go Hedge Yourself!, Become a Singaporean like Eduardo Saverin, for all I care, just leave the rest of us alone so we can sort out this mess  together, like Jerry Brown asks us to do.

The solution is in that great book, "Why Nations Fail", by Acemoglu and Robinson.

First we have to understand, how we got to this place, and then we may find a way out. Here is my take then.

All groups concerned should fight for what is dear for them. Gays, for Legal Weddings, Mexican Americans for the Dream Act, Israeli Americans for the survival of the State of Israel, Arab Americans, for the well being of people living on the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.

Wait a minute some of you must be thinking, that is impossible. I say, if you are right, you are welcome to one of those End of the World raves, this coming December. Get drunk, stoned, fucked, and just wait for the Grand Finale!

Not me, I will fight with all my might, and will go fighting!

President Obama, we need the DREAM ACT!
