Rule of Law in Mexico

Scotiabank and HSBC in Mexico have to work with criminals if they want to do business there. I am Mexican, and I know the level of respect of the law. In their book "Why Nations Fail", Acemoglu and Robinson demonstrate the fundamental role of the principle "Nobody Above the Law", in determining the failure of a nation. I know Mexico is a failed state, because I tried for many years to develop science and technology there. There are criminal forces stopping people like me from getting ahead. I admire Mexican scientists that have succeeded with those odds, but Mexico is not going to get ahead, if these criminals, are not stopped, with peaceful movements, inspired in Mohatma Ghandi's struggles.

Now Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, wants to be president of Mexico, and these two banks, allied with Enrique Pena Nieto are trying to stop him.

Only decent people around the progressive political movement, can stop this nation-wide crime.
