Political Warming

October is a week from now. Elections in the US are in November. There is a high level of debate between Democrats and Republicans. In Mexico President Fox finally is trying to stop the brewing civil war in the state of Oaxaca. I wonder if the heat in this election year is related to the Earth getting close to the highest temperature recorded on Earth in one million years.
