``The Results.-6. Our primary objective is the definition of a numerical dimensionality for all a$\in$L (cf. secs. 1 and 2). Following a procedure used by F. J. Murray and the author we define first the notion of equidimensionality for two a, b $\in$ L.²⁰ This is analogous to G. Cantor's classical procedure of defining equality of power (i.e., equivalence) for sets before defining the powers (i.e., alephs) themselves. But while G. Cantor was led by this procedure to a new kind of quantities, the alephs, our axioms will lead us back to the well-known system of real numbers.^21''
