Stieg Larsson, Roberto Bolaño, and The Wachowski Brothers (Julian Assange)
Weird, both Larsson (picture taken from here) and Bolaño died at 50.
Now I am finding out that there is a hacker in Larsson's world. Also Julian Assange looks like a character in those novels. So first Neo, and now this; Mikael Blomkvist.
Writers could not think up better plots than reality.
Wow!
The Millennium Trilogy may lead to movies and video games also; just like the Matrix Trilogy!
Maybe they should invite Julian to film the movies in undisclosed locations.
From the Newsweek article:
``The latest turns in the case are eerily evocative of both the storylines and characters in the trilogy of thrillers by Stieg Larsson, the Swedish investigative reporter who died in 2004 and whose novels have lately become international publishing phenomena. Apart from sometimes violent sexual overtones, the Swedish political and social backdrop to Larsson's novels features feckless prosecutors and sinister secret policemen. Among Larsson's main characters are world-class computer hackers (Assange's background allegedly includes hacking), private investigators, and left-wing journalists.''
Pencil drawing same source as above. Michael Nyqvist ( above ) already got the part for Swedish movies, and Daniel Craig ( above ) for the American version. Maybe Julian can do the video games.
Now we just need Pippi Longstocking. What about Lady Gaga?
