Taking Stock (Politics)

I am back at my desk in Chilpancingo. There was a debate yesterday in the race for governor of Guerrero. Three candidates, two from the Revolutionary Institutional Party (PRI), and one from the National Action Party (PAN). The second is to the right of the first, and one of the two PRI candidates resigned from this party to run with a leftist party, the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD).

PAN does not have any chance, this state is leftist. This poor state in the south of Mexico has a sizable Indian population.

Mexicans are ready for Democracy!
