Forty Years; What a Difference Make

Yesterday I chatted with my son, he first knew about Osama bin Laden's death when two drunk guys were driving and honking their horn in Iowa City.

When I was in Isla Vista California in the late seventies, I couldn't get over the image of American students celebrating their country's defeat in Vietnam.

I was with the students then, and I am with them now.

Fundamentalist revolution was confronted now, and progressive enlightened revolution was confronted in Vietnam. I am glad about both outcomes.

I hope the US chooses his wars wisely.

I agree with the children.
