DNS or NDE?

I guess I don't have to tell you that I like the Internet.

My mother in law sent me a warning, at midnight you may be disconnected if you have a Domain Name Server (DNS) robot doing mischief on your name.

A friend of mine had told me the same, some time ago, and I did not do anything.

This time I decided to go to dns-ok,us. I got scared I could not get to the page!

I checked my IP address for malicious numbers (ipconfig ...), nothing strange, then when I was really felling a Near Death Experience (NDE), I found out the dreadful time was EDT, I am in CDT. It had already passed!

Now it is 11:55 PM CDT, and I don't expect any trouble in the next five minutes.

Wheuu that was a close one.
