Higgs

The higgs is a fundamental scalar field (spin 0). The only one known so far. Quarks and leptons are complex (spin ½) . Photons, and intermediate bosons are vectors (spin 1), and gravitons tensors (spin 2). A fundamental field is not made of other known fields. A field appears  sometimes like a wave, and  other times like a particle. The most massive of the fundamental fields are, the top quark, and the higgs; both were first produced at Fermilab (I live at walking distance from the lab)One higgs cannot decay into two tops.

What does it all mean?

We already have the periodic table of fundamental particles. Now we can start  the story of the UNIVERSE!

Alleluya!
