False Prophets

Millennial times come with their share of false prophets. When everybody is confused it is easier to speak like if one knows. Sound authoritative and many will follow. Scientists by their inclination always leave room for correction, the authoritarian mind, as described by John Dean in his book, Conservatives without conscience,  writes of a character trait that requires certainty, that person has to be told what to do. He/she cannot deal with uncertainty. This is the Authoritarian Mind.

There are a fraction of those in any society, maybe 10%, in times of distress, like the ones we are going through. Even Sarah Palin, will have her day in the Sun. I do know though, that they don't know. The danger is that they take over, like Adolf Hitler did, and hell breakes loose.
