Based on a Tom Friedman's post , a friend's comments, and my daughter's life, I write this note.

I am not the most socially connected person I know.

This blog is a soliloquy. I put things together to guide my actions. I post a bunch of items that catch my eye, and I want it to be the basis for some findings in the field of Informatics.

I teach by explaining what I understand. I love to understand. My friend pointed out my comment on the Aurora Tragedy:

I don't have a clue.

Other people, he claims; approached the question with half-baked answers. I do care about the wounded, and even about the man who did it. But at this point, aside of pointing out, some of the evils of our time, I do not even have consolation for all of us, who are grieving in our own way.

From Friedman I take, that this blog should present original ideas, to start thousands of jobs, in this exceptional Nation, we call the USA.


From my daughter I take, that I should write something that would interest her!
