The World as it Really Is

I was expecting by now to have a more financially secure situation in my life. I find myself instead in an eternal promised land. Somethings are working out well, but all in all, things look grim for me. Besides my own shortcomings, I see a general principle at work here. Intelligent Human Life is not the most common event in the Universe. It is a miracle that humankind got to the 21^st Century.
