This is from a blog (below). I haven't read in Mexican newspapers about this. I left Puebla in 1994, to come back until 1998, when I finally decided to leave to Chicago. I didn't know Mexico had been in drought conditions since then to today!
I suspect that not many Mexico City residents know they have been in a drought for so long. I guess since we are not peasants in the city we just don't know. This ignorance can kill that beautiful megalopolis.
