Maybe the banks success in getting fresh cash, induced some "smart" business leaders in playing the same game for car manufacturers.
Obviously I am not privy to those shenanigans; but as I see it, either this is true, or it is easier to play money games than to make workers work. To make a real car you have to have a functioning factory, in more ways than one. To make a bank work, you need cash.
It would seem then than the US is awash with stolen booty from past wars still.
I don't like to see a Chrysler and a GM in bankruptcy court. Today is a sad day for the American Dream.
