Textbooks

I just added to my list of links: The Text Book League because I found Feynman's piece on textbook evaluation there. I was reminded of Feynma's note in "Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman" , a book I read some time back. I loved that man.

I had the opportunity to listen to his marvelous lectures at UCSB, CINVESTAV, and ESFM. These are the academic instututions where I got my basic training in Physics. He really knew how to entertain a bunch of geeks!

I found out that the late Prof. Morris Kline had this piece in the references of his book "Why Johnny Can't Add? , this is also an important book, and now that I am trying to figure out why kids can't divide I just bought it.
