Two recent announcements lead me to write this. Banks need "only" 75 billion dollars. People were expecting a bigger amount, and therefore trouble ahead. On the other side the WHO has a mild report to give, here you can read it for May 7, 2009.
"7 May 2009 -- As of 18:00 GMT, 7 May 2009, 24 countries have officially reported 2371 cases of influenza A (H1N1) infection."
That is not scary, to me it looks that we licked this one. Hooray!
Somehow I feel uneasy about these announcements. Maybe I am a closet millenarian.
I hope they are right. Let's go back to business.
