Judith Warner

She is a goof journalist in the NYT staff.

Today she points out to a fact of life behind our health.

If people around us are poor, we are going to get sick.

In Mexico people have been dying from the NAFTA flu, mainly because they were poor. To begin with, it seems that there wouldn't be any A/H1N1 flu if it wasn't for the dumping of unsafe practices of rich companies into the poor Veracruz land of the poor partners in NAFTA. Not in my backyard, becomes around here, give me your filth and refuse for a fee. We need the cash.

Sad.
