What Does it Mean to Have War Reports from Afghanistan?

Last night the NYT started to report War!

I know President Obama announced in his SOTU Address that troops were on the way, and were going to hold the territory, unlike that wimpy (W) President's War. Obama did send soldiers to fight.

What is the difference?

I hope it means that Americans will know what it means to be at war. With soldiers that cost a million a pop, we better get our bang for our buck.

I am a pacifist. But if there is something I hate more than war, is a non-declared war.
