Sean M. Carroll tells us that as time passes Entropy increases. He believes that he can explain why the Big Bang had such low Entropy. Baby Universes starting that way all the time, for ever and ever.
I will prefer to put ideas of Non-equilibrium Thermodynamics, a là Prigogine. All the babies talking to all the babies, and if Entropy decreases somewhere it is because it is increasing somewhere else.
Anyway, my point here is that the US is getting ungovernable, as Tom Friedman writes today in the NYT. My point though, is that I know why. The US is isolated. If you Americans just let us Mexicans come in, we'll change your system.
