A scientific meeting was recently struck by a bad accident. Somebody fell from a high place. The possibilities for the future life of the person are all bad.
Recently Prof. Giorgio Bagni of Italy fell from his bicycle and died. A few years ago Tomás Brody, a great scientist was robbed and left to bleed on the street.
Accidents happen; why do I write this?
When it is a fellow scientist, usually I feel worse.
