Conceptual Disonance

For years I have been thinking that Information is as real as electrons and quarks. Then Erik Verlinde late last year, came with the idea that Information was real, in the sense of Ludwig Boltzmann Entropy idea, and furthermore that it caused Gravity.

Recently, if you have been reading this blog, I have been toying with the idea that biological Information, is more like In-formation, à la Maturana and Varela, and one has to understand both, biological and physical Information. I have been thinking more into how is it that I know, than in what I know.

I am starting to feel uneasy, maybe I am letting out the bigger fish, Information in physics.

I hope I finish these thoughts in time to get more research money.
