Craig J. Hogan

There is a new paper in the arXiv. Interferometers as Holographic Clocks.

Hogan has previously pointed out that some Gravity Wave Measurement anomalies could be explained with interferometric ideas. What is new in this paper is the incorporation of Verlinde's proposal that gravity is an emergent phenomenon.

One point is that time seems to be a different thing than space. Once entropy, and the arrow of time get into the game at the beginning; it becomes harder to maintain the symmetries of the Lorentz Group.

Interesting.
