School of Creative Studies, Warrenville IL

Several years ago my wife and I started an experiment here in Illinois. We opened a school, we even registered as a business in Dell's web site. To this day we get brochures from that company to us, and that Dell computer has been refurbished by one of our alumni. The machine is working well, and we have another student full time writing his novels there.

The idea is simple, let the children play.

What we did was to keep the premises safe. Two of our children did their home-school work here for some time. Later both decided to go to "regular" schools; as we expected, they took school work seriously; mostly.

I am using these premises and equipment right now. This effort would have not been possible if it weren't for the support of sympathetic family members.

Now I am waiting for the first big breakthrough of our methods. Nothing to report so far.
