I am friends on digg with this 64 year old gentleman from Toronto, Canada. He likes to read Paul Krugman's opinion pieces as soon as they are posted in the NYT; as I do.
That is the good part.
The bad part is that we fight like teenagers to be the one that posts it first in digg.com, I am 60 he is 64. I should beat him right? No, he makes these diggs popular most of the time. I think I had a popular posting or two, by Krugman.
He has more.
Why is this?
I guess he has a better strategy. He must tell his friends to digg this. I don't give a damn. If somebody wants to read Krugman, and I already posted it, they should digg mine, right? No. It doesn't work like that. In this life if you don't fight for your diggs, or whatever, you get squat.
This may be why I am so broke.
Good for you, PhilPerspective!
After ranting, I'm going to read the professor's opinion piece right now.
